MGM Development Agreement – Public Feedback
The County has negotiated a community benefits agreement with MGM National Harbor for local employment, local business opportunities, and other community benefits at the nearly $1 billion future resort-entertainment complex. The Council will consider approving the agreement in the next few weeks. Please share your feedback about the agreement by e-mailing the County Council at clerkofthecouncil@co.pg.md.us and cc mfranklin1@co.pg.md.us.

Council Public Safety Town Hall Meeting – July 1
The Prince George’s County Council will host “Building On Our Successes: Making Prince George’s County an Even Safer Community,” a Town Hall Meeting focusing on public safety in Prince George’s County, Tuesday, July 1, 2014, 7:00 p.m.
The Town Hall Meeting will be held in the Council Hearing Room, First Floor, County Administration Building, 14741 Governor Oden Bowie Drive, in Upper Marlboro. We will feature the Police Dept., Fire/EMS Dept., Office of the Sheriff, State’s Attorney’s Office, Corrections Dept, and Dept. of Homeland Security. Citizens will also have an opportunity to participate in a question and answer session, and share their thoughts on issues of community concern with the County’s top public safety officials.
