The Croom Community Farmers Market
We are different from other farmers markets. The Croom Community Farmers Market is a mission-driven, non-profit market supporting local vendors and charities. We offer low-cost spots for local farmers and small businesses making handmade and homemade products. All vendor fees and donations go toward running the market and supporting local charities. We host year-round service projects, including food, coat, and school supply drives, and adopt veterans for the holidays. We are entirely independent and not funded by the county.
We are located on a working 145-acre farm in the rural tier of Prince George’s County. Discover our local agritourism, working farms, vineyards, and fantastic local restaurants. Spend the day shopping, eating, and sipping delicious local wine.
We feature 19 full-time and many part-time vendors, offering:Fresh baked goodsFresh local produce (grown on-site or locally sourced; know where your food comes from!)Fresh lavender, herbs, and flowers.

Thank you, and we hope to see you there!
As many of you know, we had to put our sweet Winnie down this week. We took her to Cats & Dogs Animal hospital in Bowie because they were great with us when we had to put Roxie down. We brought Winnie home with us to be buried on the farm beside Roxie. They put her in a biodegradable cardboard casket. We never looked inside when we brought Roxie home. I didn’t have the heart. This time we were reading that dogs, like humans need to say good bye. They know. So we opened the box so Ruby & Bean could sniff & say goodbye. To our surprise she was laying on a towel & wrapped up in a sheet with her head & front legs sticking out. She looked so peaceful. We can’t say enough about this animal hospital. That they would take the time to do that. So I would like to collect items that the animal hospital needs in memory of Winnie.
They need:
Towels Hand towels Wash clothesBlankets (any size)Sheets (any size)They can be used or new. Just please wash them if they are used before donating. If you would like to help, there’s a yellow & black tote box under the porch of the red building (located at 8505 Croom Rd). You can put your donations in that. If you would like to order somethings & send them to me (Amazon, Walmart, etc), you can send them to: Missi Duley8505 Croom Rd Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
We will also have a collection box set up at the farmers market on Saturdays 10am to 2pm at 8505 Croom Rd. Thanks so much! You can share this post if you’d like.
