Let us also take a moment to honor the fathers who raised us, guided us, and helped shape us into the men we are today. If your father has passed on, as mine has, remember the memories, lessons, and love they left behind that guide us today. While we are still here, let’s make a difference in the lives of young people—not only our own children, but also those who may need a positive role model, mentor, or helping hand.
And to the ladies who have raised or are raising children on their own, thank you. Your strength, sacrifice, and dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. You all have lifted your children up and stepped to the front, when the man was not able to do or willing to do.
