Reported that the outside USPS mailboxes in Upper Marlboro & Brandywine, Maryland, were both full beyond compacity this weekend. I took some mail to the Upper Marlboro, MD. US Postal Service, outdoor mailbox and the Postal Service removed the three smaller mailboxes and replaced it with one oversized and reported to be more secure mailbox. The mailbox was full to the brim on Saturday. The US Postal Service are probably working overtime and understaffed for the holiday season but the mailbox locking mechanism inside was not functioning because the mailbox was full beyond compacity.
Later a follower on Brandywine Maryland Facebook page, stated the Brandywine Maryland outside mailboxes was also totally filled.
