With Barclays Bank US – I just got recognized as one of their top fans!
I finally was approved for a Wyndham Rewards Card. It was tough getting the correct documents. Maryland State Department of Taxation, will not list anyone as an owner on the Article of Organization, only as Resident Agent. Barclays Bank US will not accept, Resident Agent. My business was just recently approved under the name of BRANDYWINEMDCOM LLC, the website is BRANDYWINEMD.com with my association Facebook page Brandywine MDcom, with the State of Maryland. As a result, I didn’t have access to other documents they needed. My Operating Agreement was finally accepted, a month after I was approved for the Capital One, Venture X personal card, I applied for both at the same time. These are the two best credit card to have for Wyndham Rewards perks and points if you are interested.

Previous post; Can someone advise what are the best steps you need to take to receive an offer for product change after contacting customer service? I messaged Barclays Bank US and received a prompt response from a Jordan with Barclays Bank US. I am thankful for their Facebook page messenger app, I’ve called customer service, and I had to wait on hold, talk to AI, then wait to talk to customer service. Then advised my request will be noted in my case file but not told a product change could not be processed. This is my response from Barclays Bank US messenger app in a few minutes. ‘Hi, Sean. You have reached Barclays US Consumer bank. We understand your request for a product change to a business card. However, your card cannot be upgraded to a business card. You may apply for a new business card by visiting BarclaysUS.com. You can also reach our Applications department at (800) 308-6008, available from 7:00 am to 12:00 am ET, seven days a week. Thank you, Jordan.”
Also if you are looking to get away for a nice getaway consider, Wyndham Hotel and Resort and also joining Wyndham Rewards for the extra points and free upgrades. I stayed at the Club Wyndham National Harbor once using RCI exchange points. I enjoyed the stay and hospitality so much, I decided to upgrade and become and owner. Took a trip to the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Rainforest, Beach and Golf Resort the following year. That is a 5 Star Resort, I couldn’t have been more happier during my stay. I plan on visiting Margaritaville Vacation Club by Wyndham – St. Thomas next. Check out one of Wyndham Getaway packages. An inside tip, if you attend a 90 min presentation don’t feel pressured to become an owner right away, they will probably have a manager talk to you before you leave and offer you a chance to become a Wyndham Destination Owner. You will be awarded enough points and bonus points to probably take a couple of trips. Then after you take a trip if you decide not to become an owner, you can just walkway or call them and tell them you would like become and owner. You will have access to more bonus points, perks and save some money.

Credit Improvement Strategies
Pay Off Small Balances First (Snowball Method): This method involves paying off debt with the smallest balance first to build momentum and improve your credit score.Manage Credit Utilization: Keep your total revolving debt below 30% of your available credit, though staying under 10% is better for a score boost. This is the fastest way to increase your score.Keep Unused Cards Open: Closing old accounts reduces your total available credit and shortens your credit history length, which can hurt your score. Instead, lock or freeze them through your issuer.Request a Credit Limit Increase: Asking for a higher limit without a hard inquiry can lower your utilization ratio, which helps your score.Product Change (Credit Switch): Switch to a no-fee card rather than closing an account to keep the account history active while avoiding fees.
Upgrade for Rewards: Look for cards that offer better points, cash back, or perks.Lower Interest Rate: Ask your issuer for a lower interest rate, especially if you have maintained a good payment history.
Diversify Credit: A mix of revolving credit (cards) and installment loans (auto, mortgage) can help. Ask for a credit limit increase to lower your overall utilization ratio. Ensure the issuer does not perform a hard inquiry
Dispute Errors: Regularly check your credit reports for inaccuracies.Factors that impact your credit score
Payment history: This is the record of how timely you are in paying your bills. Payment history is a very important factor in calculating your credit score, making up 35% of your overall score.1 While paying on time builds good credit, late payments hurt your credit by leaving a negative mark on your credit report. That negative mark may stay on your report for up to seven years.
2Credit utilization: This measures how much of your available credit you’re using. It’s best to keep your credit utilization, the amount of credit you’re using compared to how much you have, below 30%. Using too much can lower your credit score.
Length of credit history: This is the age of the accounts on your credit report, which makes up 15% of your credit score.
3 For example, you may have a credit card that is 10 years old and a line of credit that has been open for six months. Older credit accounts can show lenders you’re experienced in handling credit, which is good for your score.Credit mix: This accounts for 10% of your overall credit score.4 Lenders like to see a mix of different types of credit, like credit cards and loans. Having a diverse credit mix shows you can manage different kinds of credit responsibly.
Recent credit inquiries: This looks at any new credit applications you’ve made, like for a car loan or new credit card, which is 10% of your credit score.
5 Too many recent credit applications can lower your score, so try to be mindful when shopping around.
